Booking Policy 

I request you book online with our easy-to-use online booking system, where you can select the chosen treatments along with the date and time required. Once booked you will be required to pay a 50% fee or you can pay more if you so wish. If you choose to pay 50 % the remaining amount can be paid in the shop at the time of your appointment.  Payments in the shop can be made by cash or card.


I am also happy to take bookings over the telephone however, please be aware we do not have reception manned full time if I am in a treatment I will be unable to answer. In this instance please leave a message with your name and contact number and I aim to call you back on the same day. 

For bookings that have been placed online, you will receive two emails. One will confirm you have placed a reservation with the salon the second will confirm your appointment once a therapist has manually confirmed this for you. 

Reminders will be sent out 48 hours before your appointment to your chosen email address left at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel please let us know as soon as you receive your reminder and please follow cancellation policies. 


All Appointments booked within the salon will require a 50% deposit to be left to secure your appointment.  We will take the deposits through our booking system which you will have the choice to pay the minimum 50% or you can pay more should you wish. 

For appointments booked over the telephone, you will be sent a payment link to pay the deposit and secure your appointment. Please refer to the booking policy. 

Deposits are non-refundable, however, if you notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment, I will transfer your deposit to your rescheduled appointment. 

Cancellation Policy 

I kindly request all clients wishing to cancel their appointments notify me 48 hours prior to your appointment.   This can be done in the manner of telephone, or emailing


If you have booked online with our booking system please use your confirmation email to cancel. You can do this by opening the email and following the steps to cancel. 

Our cancellation, adjusted or rescheduled appointment charges are as follows 
               •  Cancellation/Rescheduled appointment up to 48 hours before appointment – no charge, your deposit will be transferred to  your new

               •  Cancellation/Rescheduled appointment between 48-24 hours – 50% charge 
               •  Cancellation/Rescheduled less than 24 hours notice – 100% charge

These charges apply per treatment, and so include cancelling, amending or rescheduling part of a booking (for example, booking a Massage and a Facial treatment but only wanting to go ahead with the Massage on the day).

Appointment Time 

I kindly ask all clients to arrive on time for their appointments.  Please allow 5 minutes before your appointment time to fill in a consultation that will be relevant to your treatment booked that day. 

* Covid-19 - Please be aware we are unable to accommodate our full waiting area, Please avoid attending more than 5 minutes early as we will be unable to provide you with a waiting area due to social distancing in place. 

Arriving late for your appointment

If you are 15 Minutes late your appointment will be shortened depending on your treatments booked, please note your appointment will still be charged at full price for the time booked.

If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be rescheduled and you will be charged 50% of the appointment booked.

Consultation Process 

Each appointment booked will require a consultation form to be completed.  If you are a new Customer this will be in a form of personal details, whether you wish to be contacted by us with marketing information which is totally your choice whether you opt-in rather than opt-out. 

Medical conditions relating to certain treatments but not limited to facials and massage will also need to be filled in. This helps you receive the correct treatment and helps us be aware of any ailments you may have. 

You will be sent a health consultation form regarding symptoms of illness.  This will need to be completed before your appointment as a precaution during social distancing measures and guidelines in the beauty industry. Any information connected to health forms for the purpose of track and trace will be kept on file for 21 days and then will be destroyed in a safe way following strict GDPR guidelines.

Consultation forms and any information we have on you is stored in a safe way adhering to guidelines of personal data. 

Right to refuse 

I have the right to refuse any individual I feel is unfit for treatment.  This will include any individual that appears under the influence of drugs and alcohol. This is in place to protect you as well as myself, your therapist. 


Certain treatments also come with what is known as contraindications, these are conditions that can interfere with a result of treatment. 


Any medical conditions that are displayed as a contraindication will be explained to you by a therapist why this cannot be carried out. 


In this instance, the therapist will discuss if there is another treatment suitable. (Not including alcohol or drug influence, this will result in no treatment given). 


No children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the shop/treatment room unless they are supervised by an adult, If you are having a treatment where the child cannot be with you (treatment room for massage, facials, waxing) we are unable to let them stay unattended at the reception for their own safety. 


Our treatments cannot be performed on anyone under the age of 16 on their own, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and a consultation card must be filled out and signed by the parent. 


The only treatments we can offer for under 16s is Reiki, Crystal Healing & Meditation. Massage treatments cannot be carried out on anyone under the age of 18.

Medical Issues 

If you have any medical issues we need to be aware of these need to be mentioned before the treatment in your consultation with your therapist. 


If you are on medication please make us aware before the commencement of any treatment.  This is especially important for face or body treatments. 


Prices are correct at the time of publishing, the prices are shown on the website and our downloadable price list is correct as of January 2021. They are subject to change at any time without any notice given.

Gift Cards 

Redemption - Olettesa Reiki & Holistic Therapies Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible services and products available at Olettesa Reiki & Holistic Therapies. Purchases are deducted from the redeemer's Gift Card balance. Any unused Gift Card balance will be placed in the redeemer's Olettesa Reiki & Holistic Therapies account. If a purchase exceeds the redeemer's Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. 

Limitations - Gift Cards, including any unused Gift Card balances, expire 12 months from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated (as per the individual terms and conditions on Monthly/Special Offers). Gift Cards/Vouchers can not be exchanged for cash.

Bookings using Gift Cards - When making bookings online, please enter your Gift Card Number in the Gift Card box.  However, if making bookings via phone/email or in-store, please state that you are wanting to pay for your treatment with a Gift Card and present your Gift Card when attending the shop.  Full payment will be required if you are unable to produce the Gift Card
